ELCA Outreach Center receives award from United Way of Kenosha County

ELCA Outreach Center, an Outreach for Hope supported ministry based in Kenosha, has received an award from the United Way of Kenosha County: the Shining Star Award for initiative, enthusiasm, and support to their United Way of Kenosha County Campaign.

The ELCA Outreach Center provides services to over 1,500 individuals each year, with Bible studies, a free clothing closet, a lunch program, infant supplies, GED and computer classes, youth programs and legal advice. Its mission to the economically disadvantaged is to help develop self-sufficient, caring, and participating members of the community.
