Join Team OFH for our 16th annual Family Ride Run Walk fundraiser! Together, we hope to raise $160K for grants to our Ministry Partners serving neighborhoods experiencing material poverty in the Greater Milwaukee Synod, ELCA.

Our Grafton / Ozaukee County event site features the following route options:

  • 14- or 30-mile trail bike ride on the Interurban Trail
  • 5K fun run
  • 2-mile walk
  • Volunteer options
  • Fellowship-only participant option

Following the rides, run and walk, all participants and volunteers will receive an individually packaged box lunch to enjoy outdoors with the community of Outreach for Hope supporters.

Location Details

All activities begin and end at Grace Lutheran Church, 715 6th Avenue in Grafton.

PARKING: Park in the church lot.

RESTROOMS: Restrooms in the church, at Coal Dock Park and Belgium rest stop.

Schedule

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your route’s start time!

8:30 am: 30-Mile Trail Bike Ride start time

9:30 am: 14-Mile Trail Bike Ride start time

10 am: Run and Walk start time

11 am: Picnic lunch begins

Route Details

14-Mile Trail Bike Ride: Travel on Ozaukee Interurban Trail (and some city streets) to Coal Dock Park in Port Washington, where you can turn around and return via the same route to Grace Lutheran. Download route map/cue sheet (NOTE: same route as 1st leg of 30-mile trail ride).

30-Mile Trail Bike Ride: Travel on Ozaukee Interurban Trail (and some city streets) to Belgium rest stop. Turn around and go back to Grace Lutheran. Download route maps/cue sheets: 1st leg & 2nd leg

SITE FAQ'S

What should I bring?

  • Please bring your cell phone, and come dressed for the weather and outdoor exercise (including a CSPC approved helmet for all cyclists)!
  • You may also want to bring your own water bottle.
  • There will NOT be picnic tables on-site, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs.

What do I do if there’s an emergency?

If there’s an emergency on the route, call 911. For help with non life-threatening situations (ie, bike repairs needed), you can call our Grafton site SAG Wagon Support at (414) 220-0205‬.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of torrential rain or lightning, we will post the cancelation on our website. No makeup date is planned.

What if I registered for the event, but can no longer attend?

If you can no longer attend due to illness or emergency, please reach out to us at info@outreachforhope.org or 414-671-1212, and we’ll make sure to get your t-shirt(s) to you following the event.

What should I know about attending with kids?

Children are welcome at the event! Please note that for their safety, all children under age 13 must be supervised by their accompanying adult throughout the event.
