Join Team OFH for our 16th annual Family Ride Run Walk fundraiser! Together, we hope to raise $160K for grants to our Ministry Partners serving neighborhoods experiencing material poverty in the Greater Milwaukee Synod, ELCA.

Our Milwaukee event site features the following route options:

  • 5K fun run
  • 2-mile walk
  • Volunteer options
  • Fellowship-only participant option

Following the walk and run, all participants and volunteers will receive an individually packaged box lunch to enjoy outdoors with the community of Outreach for Hope supporters.

Location Details

All activities take place at Washington Park (1859 N. 40th St).

PARKING: Park in the 40th Street lot. Site 7 is close by.

RESTROOMS: Restrooms are in the park a short walk from the shelter.


Please arrive by 9:30 am to check in!

10 am: Run and Walk start time

11 am: Picnic lunch begins


What should I bring?

Please bring your cell phone, and come dressed for the weather and outdoor exercise! You may also want to bring your own water bottle, and a picnic blanket or lawn chair(s) to use during lunch in lieu of on-site picnic tables.

What do I do if there’s an emergency?

If there’s an emergency on the route, call 911. For help with non life-threatening situations, you can call our Milwaukee site SAG Wagon Support at (414) 235-7363.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of torrential rain or lightning, we will post the cancelation on our website. No makeup date is planned.

What if I registered for the event, but can no longer attend?

If you can no longer attend due to illness or emergency, please reach out to us at or 414-671-1212, and we’ll make sure to get your t-shirt(s) to you following the event.

What should I know about attending with kids?

Children are welcome at the event! Please note that for their safety, all children under age 13 must be supervised by their accompanying adult throughout the event.
