Petrifying Springs Park (Site #3), Kenosha
Our Racine/Kenosha County event site features the following route options:
- A 25-mile road ride for the more experienced rider
- A 13-mile family friendly trail ride on the North Shore Bike Trail
- A 2 mile walk
- NEW THIS YEAR: A 5K run
- A fellowship-only option for those who plan to attend the event, but not participate in a ride, run or walk
All of these options will begin and end at Petrifying Springs Park (Site #3) in Kenosha. Following the rides/run/walk, all participants will receive an individually packaged box lunch to enjoy outdoors with the community of Outreach for Hope supporters.
Schedule
7 – 9:30 am: Check in table is open
8 am: Road ride starts (check in by 7:30 am)
9 am: Trail ride starts (check in by 8:30 am)
10 am: Walk and run starts (check in by 9:30 am)
11 am – 12:30 pm: Family picnic

Event FAQ’s
What should I bring?
Please bring your cell phone, and come dressed for the weather and outdoor exercise (including a CSPC approved helmet for all cyclists)! You may also want to bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair(s) to use during lunch in lieu of on-site picnic tables.
What do I do if there’s an emergency?
If there’s an emergency on the route, call 911. For help with non life-threatening situations (ie, bike repairs needed), call our SAG Wagon Support (phone number TBA closer to event) through 12:30 pm.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of torrential rain or lightning, we will post the cancelation on our website. No makeup date is planned.
What happens if I can’t attend in-person?
If you can’t attend in person, please reach out to us at info@outreachforhope.org or 414-671-1212, and we’ll make sure to get your t-shirt(s) to you following the event.
What should I know about attending with kids?
Children are welcome at our in-person event sites! Please note that for their safety, all children under age 13 must be supervised by their accompanying adult throughout the event.
