Reformation has “an irrational commitment” to a community of people that society generally doesn’t want to deal with; it is what Reformation is called to do. It seeks a compassion that “stands in awe of what the poor have to carry rather than in judgment of how they carry it.”

2020 UPDATE:  The effects of the pandemic on Reformation could be felt everywhere: the temporary shuttering of its Neighborhood Store, the cancellation of field trips, the loss of potluck dinners, etc. But the spirit of optimism lives on (and much has recovered in 2021!)
