Join Team OFH for our 16th annual Family Ride Run Walk fundraiser: A morning of road and trail bike ride, walking and running routes, followed by a picnic lunch and fellowship. Together, we hope to raise $160K for grants to our Ministry Partners serving neighborhoods experiencing material poverty in the Greater Milwaukee Synod, ELCA!
EVENT SITE INFORMATION
On Saturday, September 30, Ride Run Walk participants and volunteers will gather at four different event sites across southeast Wisconsin. (You will select your event site as part of registration.)
The webpages linked below contain all the information you’ll need, including site-specific schedules, locations, FAQ’s, route maps and more. Please bookmark these pages and check back for updates leading up to event day!
REGISTER FOR THE EVENT (PARTICIPATE OR VOLUNTEER)
Register to participate or volunteer at one of our four event sites, using our online registration platform or print registration form.
Registration closes Monday 9/25 @ 11:59 pm! After this deadline, we can’t guarantee that you will get a box lunch or t-shirt at the event. Register by 9/8 at noon to get your church’s team name on the back of your shirt.
VOLUNTEERS: After you’ve registered for the event, please take a moment to let us know when and how you’d like to help (learn more about available opportunities here). Check your confirmation email for a link to our online volunteer shift sign up form; or call us at 414-671-1212.
If you’re having trouble with online registration, start by watching our step-by-step video tutorial.
The following sections focus on registration:
If you still have questions after watching the video and reading the FAQ’s below, please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 414-671-1212.
During online registration, you will be prompted to create or log in to your Classy account. If you registered for last year’s event online, you already have a Classy account, and will need to find your old log in or reset your password. Read more…
Yes, but multiple people can register with the same email. Each person will still get their own personal fundraising page; if you’d like one of these fundraising pages to get deleted, please contact our office at email@example.com or 414-671-1212.
Yes! On the first page of the online registration form, just click the plus sign to the right of your chosen event location to add additional people to your registration.

DONATE OR FUNDRAISE
Make a gift towards our goal, with the option to credit it to an individual or team fundraiser. Please consider increasing your donation by 6% to help us cover processing fees!
BY CHECK: Make a check out to “Outreach for Hope.” Write “Ride Run Walk” and (optionally) the name of the team or individual fundraiser you’d like to donate to in the memo line. Bring your donation to the event; mail it to PO Box 341695, Milwaukee WI 53234; or hand deliver it to our office.
BY CASH: Bring your donation to the event, or hand deliver it to our office. If you’d like to credit your donation to a team or individual fundraiser, please enclose a note with your donation to let us know which one.
Use your personal and team fundraising pages to collect donations from friends and family online (you must register for the event first). Or, use our print pledge form to track your offline fundraising.
Yes! By default, all donations to your personal fundraising page will also be credited to your team.
A personal fundraising page was automatically created for you as part of event registration. Your unique link/URL is in your registration confirmation email.
During online registration, you’ll be asked what fundraising team you’d like our staff to add you to from a dropdown. The dropdown includes teams for all Greater Milwaukee Synod congregations and new start ministries, and a general “Team OFH” that’s open to all. You can also indicate interest in creating a new team, or opt out of joining a team.
No. When asked what team you’d like to join during registration, simply choose “N/A (I choose not to join a fundraising team)” from the dropdown.
Use the search bar linked here to find your congregation’s team. You can also find a similar search bar on the online registration/fundraising platform landing page: Just scroll down to the heading, “FIND A FUNDRAISER.”
Each team has one “Team Captain,” or page admin, who can edit their team’s fundraising page. By default, it’s the first person to join a team. If your team wants to assign the role to a different person, please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 414-671-1212.
SPREAD THE WORD IN YOUR CONGREGATION - AMBASSADOR HUB
OFH Ambassadors (formerly, Pacesetters) are volunteers who have agreed to take the lead in promoting the event in their congregation. That means sharing our pre-made promotional materials (like bulletin inserts or posters) to get the word out; recruiting their church family to register and create a fundraising team; and more!
