Our 15th annual Family Ride Run Walk will feature the same beloved aspects of the event from years past… and we’re also excited to share the following new additions:
- 5K FUN RUN: For the past few years, running has been an informal option for pre-event virtual fundraisers. Now, you will have the option of selecting a “5K fun run” as your route option when registering to participate at your chosen site.
- ALL ARE WELCOME: There is now an official fellowship-only option at registration, for those who would like to join us for our picnic but don’t plan to participate in a walk, run or bike route.
- FUNDRAISING 2.0: We’ve switched to a new, more user-friendly online registration and fundraising platform. When you register for the event online, you’ll automatically get a personal fundraising webpage — and can also join your congregation’s online fundraising team. Teams with five or more members will get their Team Name added to each members’ event t-shirt! (PS: Our countdown emails for the next two weeks will take a deeper dive into individual and team fundraising, so be sure to email your questions on these topics to robyn@outreachforhope.org.)
- ALL IN THE NAME: We’re excited to be adding “Family” back to our event name, and adopting the tagline “Together in Hope.” We hope you’ll invite your family — whether that’s a partner or spouse, roommate or neighbor, kids, pets, extended or chosen family — as we all come together as one big Synod Family in Christ!
