“The recent Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak has the potential to significantly impact our vulnerable population… to limit exposure, we have CANCELLED our three year anniversary party that was going to be this Thursday. We will reschedule this celebratory when the threat of Covid-19 has passed.”
3/5/20 – A message from Grace Welcome Center, an Outreach for Hope supported ministry:
It feels like it was just yesterday that four volunteers, six guests, and a pot of coffee started the Grace Welcome Center in Kenosha’s Uptown district. From that beginning we grew to the point in 2019 we were able to serve 7,200 nutritious hot breakfasts and also to open a weekly food pantry that serves 40 to 50 families a week. This tremendous journey we have been on would not have been possible without the support of our whole city, Outreach for Hope, and many others. So, as we celebrate our third anniversary, we want to say thank you for all the support. Please join us at Grace Lutheran Church of Kenosha, 2006 60th Street…as we celebrate three years of service and community support.
